Shuffleboard is fun, exciting and easy to learn. The game is very social and highly addictive. It is reminiscent of curling. 4 red and blue stones per player or team that are curled forward from one edge to the other end of the game table. It is important to get as close to the far edge as possible with one's own stones, while at the same time blocking or knocking away the opponent's stones.

History

Shuffleboard is a fairly new game in Sweden, but dates back to 16th century England. The game has since been further developed in the United States. The game is available in two variants, where Shuffleboard with a queue is the one most often found on larger boats. With us, you play "Table Shuffleboard" on a 22ft (6.71 m) long table where you use your hand to push the pucks away. The pucks slide incredibly easily on the long court, thanks to the sand (silicone mixed with walnut shells) that is sprinkled on the playing surface. The game is about bumping your rock so that it ends up within the scoring area. The closer you get to the edge, the higher your score. If you hit too far and come off the edge, the stone is dead.

Rules

- Each player (or team) has 4 pucks each, red or blue.
- To decide who starts, you play whose puck and closest opposite edge starts.
- You play every second puck.
- Whoever reaches 15 points first wins.
- Marking is on the table for scoring 1-4 points. 5 points are awarded if the puck hangs over the rim but is still on the playing surface.
- Whoever got points in the round before starts the next round.
- All pucks must pass the barrier line marked at the beginning of the 1-point field. If a puck does not cross that line, it shall be taken out of play.
- The puck or pucks of the same color that are closest to the far edge are scoring.
- Both feet must be behind the 1 point line closest to the player when playing the puck.
- You may not play 2 pucks at the same time.
- The entire puck must be in the scoring area. If the puck touches the line, the lower score applies.
The game is suitable for 2-8 players.

Shuffleboard is the perfect way to spend time with family and friends. Everyone can join, regardless of age, and if you've never played before, we can give you an introduction to how the game works.
